Colt Starting

From the backyard horse to the performance horse, our goal is to give each and every colt a strong built foundation that includes suppleness, responsiveness and an exposure to everything ranch life has to offer. Our program consists of at least 90 days beginning in the round pen and moving on to the real world. Colts will be introduced to many objects and environments, such as dogs, cows, and ropes, side hills and mountainous terrain.

Problem Solving

Sometimes a good horse deserves a chance to be great and sometimes a bad horse has it's last resort. We accept a limited number of problem horses each month that good long days and many wet saddle blankets can help cure. Call us for specifics, we are here to help you and your horse

Halter Breaking

Just like starting a horse under saddle, halter breaker babies is the first step towards a lifetime of positive human contact. We will gladly take mares and foals or foals alone.

Cow Work

The essential tool to making any horse broke! Every horse we have in training will learn to move around and with cattle. We start with a broke lead steer to instill confidence in each horse. After that, we will move on the everyday ranch work.

Roping Clinics

Depending upon the time of year, roping clinics are offered at our home. We will be more than happy to travel to your event as well.

Lessons

Offered with every one month of paid training is (1) 1 1/2 hour lesson on select days. We truly believe that your horse cannot learn it all, it takes two to tango. We wncourage everyone to take advantge of this.
